Delivery Information
Your order will be dispatched using one of our nominated couriers. Our delivery method will depend on your location and the total weight of the goods you order. We dispatch orders Monday-Friday and deliveries are normally made Monday-Saturday between 07:00-18:00. We are unable to give a specific time for delivery unless you have contacted us to request a timed delivery for which an additional charge will be made.
UK Delivery
Standard Delivery to UK Mainland Addresses: £3.75 usually taking upto 7 working days
Premium Delivery to UK Mainland Addresses: £5.95 usually taking 2-3 working days
We are unable to offer Premium Delivery to addresses in Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Isles of Scilly. Standard delivery to these addresses will be calculated at the checkout.
During busy periods and for specific promotions delivery times may be longer than stated.
Please ensure that someone is available to sign for your delivery, or include instructions with your order for leaving with a neighbour. Please note that if your delivery is sent using one of our nominated couriers it may not be left without a signature unless we have received your instructions to the contrary. In the event that your order cannot be delivered, a card will be left showing that an attempted delivery was made and indicating at which depot the parcel can be collected or where arrangements can be made for re-delivery.
We shall not be liable for any failure to deliver, or for any loss or liability whatsoever arising from such failure, if we fail to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control.
Free Delivery
We offer free standard mainland UK delivery if the total of your order (excluding any delivery, packaging, insurance and other relevant charges) is over £50. This offer is valid only on deliveries to UK mainland addresses.
Unclaimed Items/Carrier Returns
Should for any reason an undeliverable order not be collected from a Post Office, Royal Mail Delivery Office or nominated courier depot we are happy to refund the cost of goods once they are received back at our premises. In these circumstances we reserve the right to deduct any return charges levied by our delivery providers. We apologise in advance for these charges, which are levied by carriers for returning unclaimed/uncollected items.
Customs
When ordering goods from Fennel & Ginger for delivery outside of mainland UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Fennel & Ginger, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Generally, customs forms for international packages will list the value of the contents of your order by product type.
Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
We may provide certain order, delivery and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift" but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.
